Ingredients
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 yellow onion minced
- 1 green bell pepper minced
- 1 small courgette minced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 chili powder
- 1 ground cummin
- 2 tsp smoked paprika powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tomato paste
- 2 cans crushed tomato
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 5 dl beef broth
- 2 bay leafs
Instructions
- In a sausepan brown the mince, then add onion and bell pepper.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir in the tomato paste, and dried spices, and cook until about 2 minutes.
- Add the canned tomatoes with juices, drained beans, beef broth, and bay leaf. Give it a stir.
- Increase the heat to high until the chili comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 30 minutes uncovered, stirring occasionally.
